Andrew mentions being frightened by Zeebo at the amusement park's Laughing in the Dark ride. This is a reference to another of Betty Ann's stories, "The Tale of Laughing in the Dark".

Goofs
For much being made of the date "February 29th" and the setting of the show being Canada, it looks more like late summer/Early autumn both in the framing device of the Midnight Society, and the story itself February is the dead of winter in the northern hemisphere. so it would have been covered in snow.
