I watched Thai horror flick "Shutter" some time ago and I can say that it is really a scary movie ! Unfortunately, I cannot say the same to our Malaysian film, "Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2" (PHSM2). In fact, this film is so awful that I simply regret watching it.
Nothing seems to work for this film. The pontianak (vampire) looks like a Chinese Opera singer. The way she flies is so artificial, nothing like the vampire in "Jeepers Creepers". In fact, the pontianak will also be shown climbing tree in the film. One question, why the pontianak needs to climb the tree when she can just fly ? The background music does not suit the film. The performance of the actors are slow and boring.
