Production almost had a real-life police situation on its hands. The neighboring police force who monitored CCTV in the town center where the massacre was staged were not informed by the home town police force (who had given permission).

Curious intellectualism

I saw this film at Sarasota and thought it stood out as the only film whose style was different to the rest. I couldn't put my finger on why, though. As I was watching it, I thought it would make an awesome play - A bit like Glengarry Glen Ross.

The characters were believable, especially the detective interviewing him. Although I thought the massacre scene was a bit quick, it isn't something you see very often in a short film.

It was also pretty unique as an idea. Massacres have been done before but the concept of treating criminals as criminals forever and what they might do after being hounded their whole life because of it has never really been explored in anything I've ever seen.

Overall an excellent short.
