Tijl Beckand wasn't considered to be part of the performing 'Lama's' while casting started for the first season. He was supposed to be part of the crew, but participated so much while rehearsing, that the other performers assumed he was one of the 'Lama's' as well, so they gave him the part.
Tijl Beckand, Ruben Nicolai and presenter Patrick Lodiers are the only members of the 'Lama's' that participated in every season.
In November 2015, BNN launched a sequel series called 'Alpacas', it was cancelled after two seasons (14 episodes).
