SIBLEY is unbelievable. One of a kind. Sibley has to be the only director who goes out of his way to add some cheese and disbelief to his films. There are moments in the film when the "actor" forgets their lines and really struggles to get the scene back, this is where you would normally on set hear "cut" and "go again" but not in this masterpiece, these moments are deliberately left in. There is some very creative editing to make it look as though some of the male characters are engaging sexually with each other, which completely detracts from the story at the time. As if all that was not bad enough, the story is lame with very weak characters and some of the worst acting there has ever been in the history of cinema. BUT... Somehow add this all together and if you fast forward through some long winded scenes you actually have an embarrassingly funny film. Definitely worth a watch if you like watching Eastenders' funny one-liners, the dramatic acting in Home and Away and the cheesiness of David Hasselhoff's 'Hooked on a Feeling' music video.
Awful
In a good way!
