One of the hardest things a screenwriter can do is create a complete story in 17 minutes. The short form requires a precision that you don't always see in feature writing. Fortunately, writer Steve Garvey manages to hit all the right notes in this witty and biting satire. The movie expertly depicts what happens when the socially inept come face to face with the socially intolerable. In finding the common ground between all misfits from the benign to the monstrous, writer Garvey and director Davis succeed in pulling off quite a unique feat by putting forth the notion that there is hope for even the most hopeless that society has to offer. A small gem worth seeking out.
