Some reviewer missed, "bang bang orangutan" is what he said to his daughter with her her stuffed toy orangutan. I was hoping they were in the film.
I think he played against type, altho he did do one where he is suicidal. It was a man falling apart and losing everything. and he kind of looks nerdy as if that's possible. So it could have been better, but allowing it was what it was fiction, I enjoyed it.

A very dark and strong drama. Too bad the characters isn't more down to earth. Of course this is a movie and everything has to be exaggerated to have effect. But still such a good story and it all falls apart for some mysterious reason.
This could easily be a fine movie with very good depth. But as it is made the depth is only in the background, you will only have a hint of the suffering the parents go through. Of course there are tears, but ... tears alone doesn't make a scene strong.
Sorry, people. I do not think that this is what we expect from Swedish movies.
