Inspired by Ray Peterson's song, "Tell Laura I Love Her". While the melody remains the same, the girl's name in the song, Laura, was changed to Nora.
Sampaguita Pictures produced the films of Nora-Tirso loveteam while Tower production produced the films of Nora- Manny de Leon loveteam. "Tell Nora I Love Her" was shot in Bicol at the De Limas ancestral house. According to Leila de Lima, she is a fan of the superstar. "The entire movie was shot in our house. I think i must be in grade 6 or first year high school at that time. It took my father, who portrayed a lawyer, several takes to finish his scene because his line was in tagalog" His father was retired election commissioner Vicente de Lima
