Self hurting

You either think that you are born alone and you die alone, is a bleak outlook on life though you can't deny the truth of it. Now there are shades of alone - and there are people who are ill that make that feeling even worse. If someone let's say has a personality disorder. Kanye West has a bipolar disorder for example. Not something easy to live with - not for him and not for anyone else close to him.

And sometimes not even that close to him. The acting is superb and if it the first feature film of the director ... wow, very well done. A great drama with good acting with a limited budget (I'm assuming but I'm confident that is the case) is quite a feat ... even more so if you can pull it off in Germany (imho).

The pacing is good and while the movie would probably be scorned because of the sex and nudity (not that much if you think about it, but too much for the MPAA I assume), try not to fixate on that. It is a means to an end. And the scenes mean something - to the character(s)
