Bill Kurtis, host of Reelz’ JFK: Inside the Evidence, is an acclaimed television journalist, documentary host, news anchor, producer and author. He first began his almost 40-year broadcasting career in Kansas before moving to Chicago to work for Wbbm-tv, but it wasn't until he joined CBS in Los Angeles that he got his first taste of national news. Later, after returning to Chicago, Kurtis became involved in documentaries and in 1990 founded Kurtis Productions producing programs for A& E television network and The History Channel. These programs included the award-winning Investigative Reports and Cold Case Files® and Investigating History.
Throughout his career Kurtis has achieved several humanitarian, journalism and broadcasting awards and has covered stories such as the Charles Manson trial and the Vietnam War, including the fall of Saigon.
