This is an excellent documentary which is surprisingly well filmed. It's narrated but with a live action plot surrounding the arrival in Europe of anatomically modern humans which it theorises lead to the demise of the Neanderthals. It predates the interbreeding theory. It's hard to get hold of but copies exist on YouTube.
