I can count on one hand the few films I've seen that really get down to the the most important business in the universe: The believer as a faithful ambassador.
I would have to place DRIFTING by Brett Bower at the top of that list. There is no mincing of words: you're on trial.
DRIFTING is one of those films that suddenly appears below your radar screen, and is suddenly IN YOUR FACE. And you are forced to deal with it.
A new genre of film that I'm classifying as a "SELAH / Wake Up Call." SELAH! (A Hebrew word that means Consider / Ponder / Meditate on it).
DRIFTING. You have to see it. It will change you.

Having met the leading man, Brett Bower, who is also the director, I know he's a very sweet and kind guy, so to see him in the role he plays in Drifting, convinces me that without a doubt, he is a darn fine actor! He flawlessly executes the role of being a creepy character who really needs to go to anger management class or prison, either one. :) The plot twists and turns all the way up to the end and that aha! moment of surprise arrives and then you think, "I want to watch this again. I want to watch this again and catch a few things I missed the first time." There is a spiritual theme to the movie, but for everyone who watches it, this is a wake-up call that if your very life was put on the line, would you cling to your faith, your beliefs, or deny it? Put under pressure, what would you do? Everyone who watches DRIFTING has a strong reaction to it in that it challenges them and really makes them think, as well as, they are really impressed with the movie as a whole. Way to go, Brett Bower and CwC Productions!!
