Jatin Pandit, one half of the now-disbanded composer duo Jatin-Lalit, releases his first non-film single, "Dhadakte rehna" on Friday. The video of the song, incidentally, stars his son Raahul Jatin.

"My son Raahul Jatin heard the composition and loved it. The song started growing on us, that's when Raahul suggested that I should record this and release it as an independent single," says Jatin.

The romantic ballad is composed, sung and penned by Jatin Pandit. The music video, featuring Raahul with Jessica Lopez, is directed by Harper Gahunia and is shot in California, US.

"I was waiting for some people to join me in my studio, (so) I just picked my guitar and this hook line started flowing through me. I instantly recorded the tune and completely enjoyed creating it," Jatin adds.

Noblemen takes us into another kind of grim and horrific reality. While campus bullying is an easily identifiable scourge of our social system, just how deep it runs is put forth by debutante director Vandana Kataria in a film that spares us none of the trauma and horror of a gentle soft gay 15-year old grappling with a school of homophobic bullies.

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli recently expressed his new found love for acting and the director is all set for his debut film Phir Se. However, even before the release of the teaser of the film, Phir Se has become a victim of the controversy. Recently, Jyoti Kapoor, co-writer of Daawat-e-Ishq claimed that the story of Phir Se was written by her and accused Kunal Kohli of plagiarism. She further added that she had approached the Film Writers Association (Fwa) with the script and also filed a complaint against the filmmaker turned actor. She has stated that she had narrated the story of the film to Kunal, when the two met last year. The makers of Phir Se are miffed with her and have decided to take action against it. Kunal Kohli who over the years has staked his claim in the industry by becoming a successful director, writer and producer is best known for his films Hum Tum and Fanaa. Now we hear that the multi talented director is all set to turn actor with his next venture Phir Se. When we contacted Kunal, he said, "I cannot comment on the same as yet. But I will be making an official announcement of the same in the next few days."

Phir Se is said to be based on a separated couple living in London, trying to come to terms with the consequences of their split. The film will go on floor in November this year and will mostly be shot in London.

After a maternity break, Kajol has finally decided to step into the world of Bollywood once again and supporting her in this venture is her husband Ajay Devgn. Now, we hear that Kajol will be playing the role of a widow who is set to fight the gangsters in order to protect her family.

The film in question is said to be the Indian film adaptation of the Dutch TV series titled 'Penoza'. 'Penoza' revolves around a mobster's wife who decides to enter the world of crime in order to protect her three children after her husband is murdered due to gang war. Deepak Dhar who will be co-producing the film with Ajay revealed that they have already bought the rights of the series and are really looking forward to start working on the same.

Samar Shaikh’s directorial debut, Bobby Jasoos, is a unique thriller exploring the gender struggle in the old city area of Hyderabad.

Starring Vidya Balan in the lead as Bilkis Ahmed/Bobby, an aspiring detective with the ambition to be number one in the city, the director promises the film to “set a new benchmark for the thriller genre in Indian cinema.” Brimming with exciting twists and turns the film is not just a combination of a classic thriller story with comedy, but is anticipated to explore some of the complex issues surrounding equality.

Mumbai, March 23: For actress Kajol, who is set to feature in her husband and filmmaker-actor Ajay Devgn's home production, her priority is her children and she can't "dump them and go off to work".

Mumbai, Oct 6: So far only two episodes of Anil Kapoor's maiden TV show "24" have unfolded on the small screen and it was enough to impress filmmaker Kunal Kohli who feels that the suspense thriller deserves all the awards.

Kohli, who directed movies like "Mujhse Dosti Karoge!", "Hum Tum" and "Fanaa", also believes that it is time to revamp television, which is dominated by saas-bahu sagas.

"'24' has me hooked. Deserves all the awards this year, except best jaithani-devrani. Re-tweet if you agree that Indian TV needs a major re-haul," Kohli posted on Twitter.
