The Prince of Porn

A good time capsule of what porn films used to be with funny behind the scenes clips from classic Avon titles directed by Phil Prince. Phil Prince comes off as intense, anti-social, and relatively menacing, which is no surprise given both the content of his films and the events that have occurred in his personal life. My huge complaint with this documentary is that when showing both clips from the movies, it did not contain any captions letting you know both what films the scenes were from and who the individuals were that were performing them. It would seem to me to be in the interest of whoever is distributing this to include such information, both to show the relevance of Mr. Prince in the world of pornography, and to generate interest in and revenue from these films. It seems like they made this for people who were already fans, and fail to realize that they could have made new fans by providing such basic information.
