Although the movie is less than excellent, I believe that the game is ten times better. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants a fun game with excellent replay value. Plus, it is only about 16 dollars now that is a year old (Oct. 25, 2005)
"The Van Helsing Game is an entertaining fiend-fest with excellent actors and some new twists on old stories." -- Staci Layne Wilson, HORROR.COM
"Sommers is questionable-but the game is worth the full fifty." -- Bob Strauss, LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS
Abousolute bottom line--People who did not like the movie found the game to be excellent.

Looks like we still got some very smart specialists here on IMDb that still didn't get it. Folks, the VG in brackets next to the title means Video Game... 9 out of 12 people wrote a comment on the movie, my my... How could anyone take you serious when you don't even get the easiest things? Besides that, why do you all complain about it? Did you really expect an intelligent plot and acting on its highest level? Well, if you did, I don't know what to say... Back to the game, it is nothing outstanding in the action adventure genre but it's still fun to play 'cause Van Helsing is, similar to Dante in Devil May Cry, very fast and agile and the weapons are o.k., too. But the hard mode really lives up to its name, I haven't completed it yet, but I keep on trying. It has a high replay value and there's enough action to never make you bored. So, fellas, next time look carefully what you're posting for.
