When you watch religious films you have to take into account that the church is usually not drawing from an A talent list of players. But in this particular film I saw better productions in high school than here.
The Christian camp director's book on How to be a Good Christian has been purloined before camp is scheduled to open for the summer and this must be one crime free area because a detective is sent down to find who snatched the book. He's got a limited list of suspects, those staff that are there already.
Fortunately the detective is a believer and using his religious training more than police training the culprit is found. But we are concerned here with what is happening to the culprit spiritually as well as the earthly consequences for this terrible "crime."
One thing is sure, plagiarism is not the crime this film is guilty of. Agatha Christie can rest easy.

This short film is every bit as bad as the reviewers here say it is, but I love every minute of it. Each character has such a delicious amount of cheese to them. The only one lacking personality is the nurse. She's the most boring character. It was great seeing Jack McHaney and Donnie Keshawarz from The Pretender (1987), and Keith Salter hams it up even more than he did in The Daylight Zone (1986). The dinner looked good too, despite the cheap paper plates. I want some of that pizza the cook made with the special sauce.
