Set before Bangladesh became an independent country, when it was still part of Pakistan, “Jaago Bahey” focuses on the issues Bangladeshian people faced at the time, through three episodes, which might as well be short movies, that highlight three different aspects.
“Jaago Bahey” is streaming on Chorki.com
The first episode is titled “Shobder Khowab” and deals with the issue of the language, by focusing on the working environment of an office in an imports-exports company. The middle-aged employees speak and write in Bengali, but their boss insists that all transactions in the office must take place in Urdu. The protagonist has real trouble learning the new language, even hiding his struggle from his wife, and the bullying ways of his boss do not help at all. Eventually, however, and as the employees get fired one by one, another agenda is revealed.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Crack, which will be directed by Neeraj Pandey, was all set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's tentatively titled film The Ring on this upcoming Independence Day week. However, due to production delays, Crack was pushed and SRk's film could've got a solo release. But it looks like, the dark cloud of box office battles is not going leave Srk anytime soon and the big clash is pretty much on. Akshay Kumar's another upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which was earlier scheduled to release on June 2, 2017, will now release during the Independence Day week on August 11 this year with Srk-Anushka starrer The Ring. Unlucky with solo releases Shah Rukh Khan has been quite unlucky to make sure he gets a solo release during the festive or holiday seasons. Earlier this year, his much-awaited film Raees clashed with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil.

Akshay Kumar is all geared up for the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Jolly Llb 2’ which releases on February 10. During the promotions, Akshay appeared on the famous mock-court room show, Aap ki Adaalat and talked about his flops, his career, discipline and alleged affairs. Akshay has worked with almost every actress in the industry but ask him to pick one, he won’t say. But, when asked by Rajat Sharma for his views on Priyanka Chopra, Ekta Kapoor or Farah Khan, he had something very different to say, which soon started trending on social media. If rumours are to be believed, Akshay and Priyanka, who have acted in films like Waqt-a race against time, Aitraaz and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, had a rather frivolous relationship after their affair ended. Akshay is now happily married to Twinkle Khanna while Priyanka is going steady with her work in Hollywood! When quipped about...

Now we hear Jolly LLB2 is being planned and their is an exciting addition to the legal team. Akshay Kumar confirmed that he will play the lead in the film and what is even cooler is that he will perform the role of a lawyer for the first time in his career.

The film was laugh-out-loud funny, but underneath the humour was an angry critique of the system, something that resonated with the audience. Jolly Llb 2, which is said to be India’s first judiciary franchise film, will reportedly revolve around yet another high profile case and Akshay will be seen as a Kanpur-based lawyer.

To celebrate acclaimed Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan’s UK tour, the team at BollySpice thought it would be cool to put together a special feature which looks at her greatest songs. Sunidhi is unsurprisingly in-demand amongst Bollywood filmmakers, who want her voice to be mimed by some of the hottest actresses in the industry. Her success is evident in the fact that she will be gracing the stage of the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London this Friday as part of her UK tour.
Having first acquired popularity by singing the songs for the film Mast (1999), Sunidhi is considered one of few who can use her voice to give it that provocative touch. She has sung to some of Bollywood’s most iconic tracks and has to some extent contributed towards the popularity of actresses like Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu by lending them her voice in their films.
