Wow, what a hidden gem. High quality production value & strong narration. I noticed many of the expert historians in this have a genuine & respectful..almost emotional delivery while recounting all the 'stats' which helps convey the real human toll & sheer magnitude of these events. If you're into navy stuff and/or WW2 stuff this is a must see. You learn a lot in 2 episodes that fly by.
Best of all I was amazed not only at some of the incredible photographs they have but also actual video footage that exists from this era! Shows WW1 isn't nearly as ancient as many probably feel like it is (formerly myself included).
