Magic Time: A Tribute to Jack Lemmon (2002)
*** (out of 4)
This thirteen-minute featurette is, as the title states, a tribute to the magic touch that Jack Lemmon managed to bring to his roles with a lot of the focus being on THE APARTMENT. His son Chris is joined by James Foley, Peter Gallagher, James Lipton and others as they discuss the certain grace and charm that Lemmon was able to bring to the screen. Obviously, this featurette is way too short to be called great or definitive but at the same time I thought it was a nice tribute and it was especially great getting to hear from his son. It was certainly fun watching Chris Lemmon talk about his father, his acting style and then talking about various things his father told him about the business. All in all this here is a lot of fan and fans of the actor will enjoy watching it.
