Taraana Directed By Deepak Bahry is A Musical Romantic Drama. Script Has Nothing New To Offer Except The Fresh Looking Lead Pair. Screenplay & Direction is Quite Average. Dialogues & Action is Good. Cinematography is Pleasant. Editing is Just Fine.
Shyaam(Mithun Chakraborty) Son Of Thakur Gopal Singh(Om Shivpuri) Comes Across Rani(Ranjeeta Kaur). She Belongs To A Nomad Tribe, Who Are Currently Living On The Land Provided By Thakur Gopal Singh. After Few Songs & Romantic Interactions Both Of Them Fall in Love. Finally Rani Tells His Father Rana(Shreeram Lagoo) That She Loves Shyaam And Wants To Marry Him. Rana Meets Thakur With The Marriage Proposal But He Rejects. Both Are Kept Apart. Struggle Begins.
Acting Wise, Mithun & Ranjeeta Are Quite Natural And Have Good Chemistry. Shreeram Lagoo, Sharad Saxena & Om Shivpuri Did Well.
Music By Ram Laxman is Average. There Are Too Many Songs Inserted in The First Half. "Gunche Lage Hain Kehne" is The Best Composition From The Movie.
