Mithun's mother in law saw the film and wanted to meet the old man from Rawalpindi. Mithun tried to convince her that he was not from Rawalpindi and was a young co star. She insisted Mithun invite the actor home so she could believe it. Upon meeting Gulshan she said he was not the actor in the film .
Phoolon Ka Yaaron song was sampled from the Pet Shop Boys song "Its a Sin".

Hum To Hain Dil Ke Deewane from Love Love Love was sampled from Pet Shop Boys "Its a Sin". We Are in Love also from Love Love Love has traces of the same Pet Shop Boys song. A much less blatant but still perceptible borrowing from "It's a Sin" can be found in the song "Phoolon Ka Yaaron Dekho Jigar" (composed and arranged, by Rajesh Roshan) from the 1991 film Swarg Yahan Narak Yahan.
