So, I seem to have enjoyed it more the first time and having only seen Part 1 whereas this is the complete 90 minute version. Certainly all the usual Japanese preoccupations are there, revenge, honour, rape etc and possibly the reason I didn't enjoy it so much this time was that I watched it dubbed and now realize that on video it was subtitled. It has it's moments but I can't imagine watching it again very soon to find out if it is substantially better in Japanese!
