Fire Quest

10/10

Awesome animated series

An adventure, set in prehistoric times about five children aged between 11 and 16 and their search for fire. The pursuit of adventure, the conflict between the 'inventions' of the youngest child Galil which meet with the scepticism of the elders of the tribe and a desire to explore new horizons are all part of the children's daily lives. Mamoo a young dwarf hairy mammoth accompany them in their many adventures which bring them into contact with other tribes which are either more advanced than their own or very primitive, shamanism or even just various natural disasters (eclipses, earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, the winter cold etc….) With a modern look to the fabulous backgrounds, the series, Children of Fire is a unique concept. Well, that's what the website says. And this is another French show, that is far better than many of the series aired on Cartoon Network, Jetix and so on. This show deserves fame and recognition! The atmosphere is similar to "Rahan" and "Quest for Fire". The animation is artistic and stylish. The story is intriguing and captures both kids and mature audience. Highly recommended!
