I've seen this short film on IFC a couple of times, and I apparently enjoyed it more than most people judging by it's IMDb rating. It's not a great short, but it's enjoyable, and I can think of a lot of worse ways to blow ten minutes.
The short starts with three different middle-class people doing seemingly mundane tasks. Then we learn that these people were sent on their missions by a middle-class mother who is the confident and capable leader of this unlikely foursome. The tasks turn out to be much more unusual than expected, and they are carried out, sometimes ineptly, sometimes competently, and often humorously. Finally, the short flashes back to reveal the surprising occupation of this group and the unexpected incident which caused them to be in this predicament.
The spot that one character chooses to dump the handgun is both absolutely hilarious and ingenious. And the guy attempting to dispose of the body will get a couple of big laughs too.
If you like dark comedy, I'd suggest giving this short film a try.
