After season two, the show was cancelled due to low ratings.
According to KISS frontman, Paul Stanley in his book, "Face The Music" he was very upset and offended that Gene Simmons was creating a cartoon that to him was too closely associated with KISS, to which Gene dismissed it saying that it wasn't the same. That show turned out to be, My Dad Is A Rock Star which the main character's Father was based on Simmons in his KISS persona, The Demon and the main character was based on his real life Son, Nick.
