Maybe the people at Blockbuster were on to something when they placed this atrocity in the "Comedy" section. Likely being the worst movie I've ever seen (apart from the movies I've made) it should be a hallmark of any true horror/comedy collection. I must warn the casual viewer, if you are a young aspiring actor or director, do not see this movie. It will forever stunt your growth as an artist. From the washed out picture, shot with a home video camera, to the extras on the DVD which mess up the title ("Holla if I Killed You") there is an endless supply of movie making incompetence to keep even the most jaded bad horror lover entertained. I know I was.

Hollaback, a once world famous comic, has since fell on hard times. Whever he goes people boo him. And a mysterious person is killing off people. Could it be Holla? You know what? With a film this mind-numbingly awful, does anyone really care? Nope i didn't think so either. I feel angry, mad that I bought this badly acted, horribly lensed, terribly padded, simply putrid "movie" (if you wanna to call it that, which I don't, it brings the word down) sight unseen. I learned my lesson. They say a fool and his money are soon parted. Well if you buy or rent this crap, you deserve to lose you money, fool. Holla, if you hear that.
My Grade: F
DVD Extras: 12 and a half minutes of Bloopers; 8 minutes of interviews; 12 minutes of raw murder scene footage; Photo album; Trailers for "Holla if i kill you", "House that Screamed", "Hellgate: House that screamed 2", "Christmas Season massacre", "China white Serpentine", "the Undertow", "Savage Harvest", and "Insaniac"
Easter Egg: Highlight the word "Preview trailers", for even more trailers for stuff you'll NEVER waste your time with

If you did not mind the home movie amateurish feel of "Hollywood Shuffle" "She's Gotta Have It" or "Bamboozled", then this movie could be right up your alley. I am interested in seeing how others feel about this film. If approached with a proper expectation of grimy let your hair down fun with booty references and four letter colorful words, this film can be seen as passable to even clever and worthy of a cult following. Humor is risky and the writers of this film are ambitious enough to let viewers see what happen when a particular comedy bombs time and time again. I kind of wish the film had been given an artistic brush over of a bigger budgeted executive, but for what it is this film deserves a look. I tend to be sensitive to humor that is debasing and sets the race back and to its credit this film does not do that. If you thought of renting this film, go for it and let me know what you think.
