I played the part of Jackie's mom in this Independent film and had so much fun. It was a small speaking part. Lynn was a great director/writer. She really captured the flavor of NM small towns. From the beauty of the autumn bosque and golden cottonwoods along the river to the overlook along a country road of the rugged mesa lands. And especially the small village church where they almost got married. She used most all local, real people, many were real characters. I really enjoyed the conversation between the two local women at the small local coffee shop. That cute dinner is no longer there, but had been there for more than forty years. It was a REALLY low budget film, however, she dealt with some interesting issues particular to that part of the country as well as personal issues with different age groups. I hope to see more of Lynn's work in the future to watch her progress.
