Great documentary, on what it takes to be a waitress

If you like documentaries, short films, food channel..then you will love The American waitress. I thoroughly enjoyed this short film about the world of waitresses from the 1st minute. They ask the million dollar question which is what does it take to be a waitress from different workers from all walks of life and restaurants and get funny introspective answers from them all.

You will definitely get much more appreciation for people working in the restaurants, for me I always have high regards for them...much more even so than teachers because they serve people and have to do it with a smile regardless.

There are many humorous accounts and tales from the waitresses that left me laughing...like one who explained the quirks and demands of some customers: " uhhmm I want a glass of water, no ice and make sure to bring a straw. And also a lemon. Then her friend says, that sounds good...I'll have one too." Like it's some kind of drink.
