A medical student with a jealous boyfriend has an affair with an older millionaire who thinks she looks like his dead wife. The jealous boyfriend hires a private detective (Akins) to rake the muck. At one point it seems as though this poor young lady is in an emotional sandwich between two nut jobs, and the writers keep you guessing all the time, first one lover becomes the villain, then the other.
There is a twist at the end, which I didn't see coming.
It was sad to see a bloated Claude Akins, who was dying at the time. But he could still act! This is not a GREAT film, but it is watchable. But once only.

I got a copy of this flick off ebay for cheap. Finally watched it tonight.
A pretty low budget flick, and I was interested to see that it was filmed here in Houston. The hospital scenes are actually filmed at Twelve Oaks Hospital here in Houston. Interesting for me to try to recognize some of the filmed locations.
The only semi-well known actor in this flick is Claude Atkins in a small role. Bad acting by some, but the lead actress was an attractive redhead. But, for some reason I liked this "thriller" film. Maybe it's the "so bad it's good" thing.
Worth watching if you're from Houston..

Only two reviews so, briefly here's my take. I think the point may be, you're supposed to not realise which of the guys is a nut-job. However, as the storyline here says, both the men involved are very obviously psychos. A woman who could fall for either of them isn't worth anyone's sympathy and on top of that she can't act and has no personality to speak of.
Everything is poorly done, the acting is useless and there's almost nothing of interest. Best performance, unsurprisingly, comes from Claude Akins, but even he isn't up to the normal standard - it's his last film so maybe he wasn't well. And that's the only possible reason to watch this rubbish - if you're an Akins fan completing the set.
