Nilaavinte Nattil

Nilavinte nattil ( directorial debut by Vijay Menon) is an exceptional movie to watch. The theme and the flow of the movie is amazing. The movie released in 1986, but I feel this should have been released in the modern times. The star cast include Prem Nazir, Bharat Gopi, Seema and a new face girl who played the leading role.

Plot : The movie starts with a girl walking lonely into a posh family residence where she is supposed to do baby sitting for a night. The parents (PremNazir and Seema) are ready to attend a party and went for it.

Then comes the lovely filming of a young girl ,alone in a big house at night. The director has shown his class to bring this feeling to the audience. Her lover (Lalu Alex) penetrate into the house and seduce her into love making. She force him out after some time. But he refuses to go and tried to spent time, roaming around. Then, opening the front door on a calling bell, she found his dead body. The appearance of a strange middle aged man (Bharat Gopi)occurs now , who claimed to hear a loud voice which lead him into the house. The baby sitter, being upset, was seeking help from the stranger. He tries to comfort her in a lovely manner and take her to upstairs. The the movie reveals the stranger's relation to that house and his targets.

After all, it is a lovely lovely movie which we have never experienced in malayalam film industry before or later. The class shown by Vijay menon in this movie is amazing. The feelings of a young girl who is worried, frightened and had no other way than being forced to sex is being portrayed here in an exceptional way.
