Towards the end of the film, the mishap aircraft is starting its takeoff roll, you can hear the engines spooling up, ie increasing power. The scene then cuts away to the investigator listening to the black box recordings, then back to the aircraft already rolling. In the second sequence with the aircraft, you can again hear the engines spooling up. They should have already been at takeoff power.
The shots of the pre-flight preparations and push back of the fateful plane show a 737-200 with longer narrower low- bypass jet engines (00:03:00). The shots immediately following of taxi and takeoff show a 737-300 with shorter wider high-bypass jet engines (00:04:08). The same shots are repeated at 01:35:05.
In the scene where T and the other pilot are talking inside an ESSO gas station, a "energy" sign can be seen in the background. This brand of fuel was not available until 2004, while the movie takes place in 1999.
