Even still in the wake of her Pícara Sonhadora (2001) success, Bianca Rinaldi was deemed "too old" for the main role and was initially turned down by the producers. She then showed up on set dressed like a young boy, to whom director Henrique Martins shouted: "Bugger off, kid! You're not supposed to be here!"
Filming was finished four months before the season finale was aired. Due to this, Thiago Oliveira appeared on different networks at the same time: on this series and Globo TV's Agora é Que São Elas (2003).
