Storyline
Featured review
I suppose to use a more modern phrase would be to call this a rip-off of Mondo Cane. But I recall the title in the US as just plain "Ecce", subtitled "Behold". I can't remember all the scenes, but I think they may have duplicated some from Mondo Cane. All in all, they were both pretty interesting to a 14-16 year old. I didn't get to see Mondo Cane until the latter half of 1963 here in the US. I had no trouble getting into either flick, probably because the rating system was different back then, and I never kept track of those changes. I am sure there was some kind of nudity in both. If anyone out there can shed further light on Ecce, I would appreciate your comments. The guys I saw it with smoked so much reefer since then, they can't remember much at all.
