This movie is the second of a trilogy, consisting of "Bænken", "Arven" and "Drabet", dealing with Danish lower-, upper- and middle class respectively.
The entire movie was shot with a two-camera technique. According to the director, this makes it easier to use actor improvisation. Most scenes were also shot with a long focal lens. Apart from the visual effect, the actors did not know where the cameras were.
