First of all, I gave this 6 stars only because, there is no known video footage from the Eurovision Song Contest from 1964 which was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. The hostess was Lotte Vaever, a young Danish actress. Rumors have it that the Danish TV studio had a massive fire in their film vault in the early 1970s, and that the film had perished in the blaze. But at least the audio was saved. The obvious winner that night was Italy's Gigliola Cinquetti, who was only 16 at the time with her innocent song, "Non L'heta", or "I'm not old enough". You could tell by the 45-second standing ovation and applause she received after her performance. But then, some would say that this was the reprise of the song.
