This is one movie which u wont get tired of watching.. Having watched it umpteen number of times both wit friends and family u can still laugh whole hearted.. Not very often do u see a telugu movie where t hero is himself t main comedian. He's not more than a superbly scripted character still he comes out as a real hero..Forget all those fights, those punchy dialogues against t baddies, this is coming of age of telugu hero. Nd venkatesh gives his best performance till date in such a way tat u cant imagine any one else in his role..Vijay bhaskar of nuvve kavali fame produces a riveting script, wonderful dialogues nd a sleek screenplay.. If u really want to know t story its about a young girl who gets happily engaged in an arranged marriage till his father's friends son bowls her over. Prakash raj as usual is stunning.. There r certain sequences wit bramhanandam tat could've been parted wit nd r of no use to t script. U can forgive t director for such mistakes just bec he has given a movie to remember and cherish for a long time

I don't know how many times I watched this film. Comedy by venkatesh is the highlight of this film. Director Vijaya Bhaskar has lot of guts in making sentimental films reaped by comedy. But I am surprising why he is taking a lot of time in making films. Of course every film by him is a huge success. The film is well scripted and songs are very nice. Aarti agarwal is very nice and made a successful step in telugu film industry. Some dialogues in this film makes one to crawl on the ground. The story is routine. The lady lead actor has already engaged with a fellow. After that this heroin falls in love with venkatesh by his innocence and the value of father in his life. It is one of my best comedy films.
If I were to go on a long journey, with few prospects for entertainment, this would definitely be one of the movies that get packed in my portable hard disk. Just for its pure entertainment value, and definitely not for any award winning performances.
Very rarely does a director strike the right balance of comedy and drama, especially between the either side of the intermission. How often do we head into the intermission feeling all light and happy only to get drenched in heavy waterworks-sentiment in the second half! Venkatesh forms the backbone of the comedy track with Prakash Raj, Suhasini and Chandra Mohan donning the drama mantle. Aarti Agarwal in her debut movie manages to look pretty and shed the right amount of tears at the right times. But the revelation of the movie must be Sunil, who has given a subdued yet howlarious performance. A special mention must be made of the witty dialog by Trivikram.
A wholesome fun family movie for all seasons!

I like this movie very much; I have watched it number of times; I laugh every time I watch it. The greatness about the movie is its simplicity; it has all the ingredients in the right mix; comedy, sentiment, sarcasm, love, friendship etc. I feel the credit goes to Trivikram for his simple script and excellent screenplay and dialogs. Though most of the scenes are comedy oriented, the film doesn't miss the sentiments. The only weak point I can say is Suhasini's dialogs; a bit boring sometimes, but they are needed for the story. I never liked Venkatest for his over-action; but in this movie, they used him in proper manner.
Just go and watch it; you'll have lots of fun and good time.

Its not very often we come across movies that make you forget the time.Nuvvu Nakku Nachav definitely belongs to that category.A fun family movie with crisp dialogues and breezy smart script, writer trivikram pulls out a comedy that stay with you for a long time. Ironically there is nothing brilliant in the movie,no great performances,no great drama but yet you will love it for what it is..a fun feel good movie that is almost magical in the department of making time pass.Venkatesh plays his role with optimal sarcasm, may not be his best performance but certainly one of the most memorable.Arthi agarwal is pretty and likablebut she lost it after this movie. In conclusion a movie for all occasions!

VENKATESH has really guts to accept these kind of movies and even "already Ara EKARAM POINDI" like duologue's shows his distance towards stardom. thanks to TRIVIKRAM for penning such an excellent words. i hope this is the one of the best family entertainer excluding all vulgarities. i personally liked the way of narration entertainment is mixed with story and it is not in a separate line. most balanced subject taken by TRIVIKRAM songs are also good and situational and VENKATESH,PRAKASH RAJ,CHANDRA MOHAN,ms,BREMMI,SUNIL did a fabulous performance. SUMALATHA is OK and AARTHI is good. especially VENKATESH acting in comedy scenes he behaved like a perfect village guy(VENKY) and his transformation in sentiment scenes were awesome and BREMMI performance in water world of-course inspired from Mr.bean but well suited for our nativity. Thank you 3VIKRAM and VENKATESH for such a great comedy and family entertainer.

This is most awesome comedy movie i had ever seen in my entire life.First of all credit goes to trigram for his duologue's which r the life for the movie and don't leave u a second without laughing.Next its hero and his love story which steals the show of course its director who has well scripted it.Comedians did good job and second half comedy which i bet u will definitely drive u crazy .The heroin though is her debut did a wonderful job never looked like her debut.Apart from all these one of the most important thing to mention is music they are really soothing, heart touching, and describes the situation well thanks to lyricist for giving really good stuff. In one line this is a mind blowing family entertainer
Very rarely can one genuinely claim to enjoy a movie after watching it 15 times. Comedy is a difficult art. Writing dialogues and enacting them to such a degree of perfection that no sane viewer would escape laughter is a herculean task. This movie has certainly completed that task almost effortlessly. The hero Venkatesh proved his mettle throughout the movie. In particular, there is one scene wherein Prakash Raj (who also performed superbly) reads a poem written in honour of his late mother. Venkatesh's expressions were and still are a treat to watch. Every actor (except perhaps the lackluster heroine Aarathi agarwal) acted brilliantly (an honourable mention goes to Sunil). The movie's story is clichéd. The songs do not move mountains. But this movie will be a classic if it has not reached that status already.
In my opinion Nuvvu Naaku Nachavu better than baahubali. What an entertainer man , venkatesh character is one of the best entertaining character in Telugu cinema , this movie never gets old , prathi scene baaguntundi , ten time chusina bore kottanu movie idhi , it can be put in top 5 telugu movies .

Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav (2001) :
Brief Review -
A timeless family drama and a timeless rom-com. Telugu Cinema's One Single Answer to beat Bollywood's HAHK and DDLJ. This is how it's done, others should learn from it. Just imagine HAHK and DDLJ with lots of comedy throughout the film and Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav is the clear image you see. It is far more sensible, heartful than that and less melo-dramatic. Family drama meant to make melodrama appear as the usp of the film even though it's not needed that much. For 90s it was okay but what about watching the stuff after 20 or 30 years. The same film which looked good then looks cliched now, why? Because they used dated methods for contemporary effects. But there are some films which are simply timeless and you enjoy them anytime and at any age. Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav comes with a solid package of two of the most common and audience friendly genres family drama and Rom-com. This is why it is unbeatable and timeless. Actually, some films are called iconic even if they get any of the one thing right and then there is this film ruling both the genres with single narrative. Venkateswarlu, aka Venky, comes Hyderabad to his father's friend's house where he meets an engaged girl. Things turn upside down when she expresses her love for him. A simple story with no intricate thoughts or characters stays the same for three hours. It hypnotises you for those three hours. I didn't move from my seat, I didn't take eyes off screen even for songs when i don't understand Telugu. I even enjoyed the music with subtitles and it happens rarely. Acting, music, humour, dialogues, comedy, romance, family values, cinematography, editing, production values and direction each and everyone is just BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT! Overall, a Timeless Classic for all ages. One of the Finest Telugu Movie of this millenium.

It must be crazy to review after 20 years of its release but truly it's one of the best movies ever made. An out and out comedy blended with deep emotions at the same time providing a better perspective in understanding the subtle troubles of a common woman. The fantastic screenplay built over a simple story line fit into a right template to cater all kinds of audiences makes you feel a lump in your throat in one minute while your muscles in the stomach are tired of laughter. The absence of vulgarity or fights keeps a clean and good feel throughout. While the funny dialogues don't get old even after two decades, still contributing a lot to the memes and sticker generation the emotional ones are shortened versions of life lessons. Not to mention the brilliant performances of the actors and the direction perfected to the smallest detail this film is a classic work meant to be cherished for several decades.
