TJ Rehmi song "Dil Mai Durad" sampled the song "Dil Mein Dard".
Karishma Kapoor was signed for the lead role but opted out.
Kareena Kapoor was signed for the film but walked out 3 days prior to the shooting due to problems with Bobby Deol. Kareena and Tanya Deol had gotten into a fight during the shooting of "Ajnabi".
Bobby Deol's only film with Vinod Khanna. Although they appeared in Players a decade later, they did not share a frame.
