This short film is one of eight that are included on a DVD collection entitled "The Best of Slant, Volume One"--a collection of shorts all by Asian-Americans.
This is a short fake documentary about "Chungian Motion"--a concept created by Dr. Chung to explain why things sometimes move on their own when he was doing experiments with stop-motion. The somber voice of the narrator and the scientific-sounding dialog is pretty clever. While this is not a film to get excited about (especially since it's so dead-pan), it is a nice experimental film by a young film maker. I would like to see more stuff by Wes Kim to see what he comes up with next.
