A very entertaining holiday romp with shades of the "Big Brother" reality series. In order to win a huge money price, 24 Santas have to endure hardship, humiliation, terror and outright fighting to be the lucky one. A very sucessful reality show parody, which got very high praise when it first aired in Norway in 2001.
This is a nice and funny norwegian parody on reality TV series. It's about 24 santas in a barn, and one of them gets voted out every day from December 1st to christmas eve. There are some really stupid events that take place in this barn and that's what makes it funny.
On a barn in the forest 24 people are gathered to live like Christmas gnomes for 24 days. One is voted off every day, and only the most cunning gnome will stay to Christmas-eve and be the winner of one million norwegian kroner.
This realty show most be the best one ever made. First off all a realty show that isn't real has a great start off concept, don't you think? And it is so cleverly made that it stands out as some off the best Norway has ever made.
Mr Eckbo rules:) If you want to see something foreign (perhaps norwegian), "Nissene på låven" (Translates roughly (Christmas Gnomes\ elfs on the barn) and "get ready to be boyzvoiced" (also Eckbo) will be off my highest recommendations.
