Goofs

(at around 36 mins) When the son is smoking a joint in the woods, its length increases between cuts.

(at around 1h 13 mins) Running out of gasoline will not stop the starter from operating.

(at around 10 mins) When the family stops the first time they see the girl in white, we see a large dry spot in the road, and a tree. But when they turn around and head back the opposite direction, we see a shot of them passing the same spot and tree in the original direction they were traveling. However, this is possible since the road has the tendency to repeat some of its elements, like the cabin they reach. The physical presence of the road is not continuous throughout the whole film.

(at around 35 mins) When the father gets out of the driver's seat, the seat nearly gets out of the car with him, revealing a "rigged" car where the camera is sometimes mounted where the driver's seat is and therefore the driver's seat needs to be removable (like the other seats).

The rear view mirror in the windshield is gone, instead there is a little dot where the mirror should be.

(at around 10 mins) When Marion is walking by herself, she gets her cigarettes out and they are all white. When she gives her father one later (at around 1h), it has a wood grain butt.

They are out on a road in the middle of nowhere with no lights. But you can see streetlights on the throughout the stops on the road.

When Marion is walking alone, you can see signs along the road behind her.

(at around 34 mins) When Frank and Laura are arguing over what noise is on the car radio, Frank's line, "I just want to get to the police before anything else goes wrong," has been dubbed over what he actually said.

(at around 39 mins) When Laura is chasing the hearse, and Frank and Marion stop following her, a third shadow can be seen off to their right, running beside them.
