I usually visit a lot of festivals and this film i had seen on one of my festival rounds. A short and sweet film of about 15 minutes. Few impressive things stood out. One was definitely the professional work of titling which accompanied the piece. The titles which were very graphic and well designed really gave the necessary lift to the piece, The Music and the sound design was among the best. The actors stood out with a very good performance especially the lead actor and the actress. My only regret was the story and the screenplay was very immature at many points and could have really stood out if it was tightened a bit. The language at many sections were childish. However the visual and directorial work managed to keep the screenplay from falling. At many points the sheer understatement by which the film was directed helped the film stand out from the many short films i have seen. The director managed to create a good atmosphere with the sound design and deft camera framing inspite of the shoddy script. Hope to see more of his work in future and good luck to the team. The story: A man's world is shaken up in a split moment finding traces of his existence removed. This film is about transient perspectives, last minute queries, lost identities and the reconsideration of reality. Overall a very refreshing film.
