Trivia

Shagird

Edit
Joy Mukherji learned the dance to 'Duniya Pagal Hai Ya Phir Main Deewana' in 'Shagird' (1967) from a dancer in a Hong Kong nightclub. On his way to the shooting of 'Love In Tokyo', he visited the club and was very inspired by an energetic dancer in the club - he went up to her and asked her to teach him the steps.
Later in 1993, on the same plot, Shreeman Ashique was made starring Rishi Kapoor and Urmila Martondkar.
Sashadhar Mukherjee wanted Shashi Kapoor to play the lead before Joy Mukherjee.
While shooting for the film Joy Mukherjee would make funny gestures to Saira Banu from behind during her scenes.Saira Banu would get distracted and could not do her scenes. She went to producer Subodh Mukherjee who was was uncle to Joy Mukherjee and told him she wont shoot with a mad man like him.It took lot of time for Subodh Mukherjee to convince Saira Banu to return back to shoot.
Dil Vil Pyar Vyar Main Kya Jaanoon Re The song opened with two lines sung by Mohammed Rafi. However, the film's music records did not credit him for it.
