After its initial showing, this film was later edited down by the producer to roughly 30 min and retitled Talbot of Canada. After being lost for decades, the film was partially restored by a project overseen by Museum London which used a combination of found footage, recovered colour stills and new soundtrack which dubbed in dialogue surmised by lip readers examining the footage and recovered film scripts
