A good-natured, kind-heated train conductor Ueda (Kiyoshi Atsumi) helps an old friend find her missing brother. The stories basic plot line is simply a backdrop, the starting point to this wonderful gem of a film. The meandering trail that leads Ueda to finding that brother is a hilarious set of misadventures and eccentric encounters. Especially when Ueda finds himself among the counter culture artists and dropouts of the city, an interesting glimpse of the times in Japan. The all girl band, dressed in their minis, in the underground mod club are a sensation , sadly no info on them ? ... Kiyoshi Atsumi plays with great vitality the quirky oddball character this was the third in a series of films from Masaharu Segawa . Atsumi is supported by a top cast, the script is a standout with many memorable one-liners and quotes. Beautifully crafted, a fast paced, easy viewing, highly entertaining comedy classic, Highly Recommended
