Actress Binny Rai shot for the film for a month then disappeared. She quit the film unannounced and went back to England. This was due to the arrest of her boyfriend Bakshish Singh.
The film was started with the title "Sarparast" in 1983.. Dara Singh shot for the film and later was replaced by Dharmendra.
The film was delayed for several years and was released in 1987.
