For the 25th anniversary in 2004, the original backdrops were moved to the Heide Park Soltau. In 2017 the show was ended due to lack of interest. The sets are moved to a layer and the producers try to find a new location for the show.
In 2018 Winfried Debertin announced a movie adaptation of the show which suppose to start and end in the Spencer village (Spencerville, in the English version), and take place also in the "real" world.
In the 90s the crew produced a remix song called "Baden gehen", which was based on several dialogue samples from various episodes from the show. In 2015 a video clip was filmed in Hollenstedt, where Debertin's production company Penta-TV is based.
