I got this game as a gift from my father when i bought my x box.. i didnt think any fighting game would ever top the original mortal kombat games. but dead or alive does not only have amazing graphics but great gameplay and amazing replay value. i got this game in november and im still playing it. the only thing wrong with it is that the one player mood is to short. 9/10

Well first of all .Dead or Alive 3 has no ring outs .So you don't have to worry about slipping and being count as K.O ,like Soul Calibur 2 does Ring Outs and so does Virtua Fighter .DOA3 is a lot more realistic then DOA2 or 3.Because you can actually make an effect when you hit an object .Sure all the voices may all be in Japanese ,But at least Sakura Tange is no longer playing Kasumi anymore and you get to control Christie my favourite character .But I also hear that DOA ultimate is coming out in November this year or later .It has all the DOAs put together. Including the rare first version for The Sega Saturn .As soon as Dead or Alive Ultimate comes out Buy It .It is supposed to be XBOX Live compatible too.

"Dead or alive 3" is arguably the finest fighting-game available for the current console-generation(X-Box, Playstation 2 and Gamecube). This is a game that in my view is superior to competitors such as "Tekken 4", "Virtua Fighter 4" and even the mighty "Soul Calibur 2". Therefore, since I do not own an X-Box, I think it is a shame that it is only an X-box exclusive. The graphics here are the finest ever in a fighting-game, although pulling off moves using the x-box-controller can prove to be quite difficult for us who are used to playing on Playstation 2 or Gamecube. The gameplay is fluent, very realistic(mostly) and very intuitive.
If you want to criticize this game, it could be argued that it is in fact little more than a cosmetic improvement over "Dead or alive 2". Wonderful!
