In a little over two months, viewers can experience Crimson Peak's Allerdale Hall, a place haunted by ghosts and inhabited by two potentially dangerous humans: Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) and his sister, Lady Lucille Sharpe (Jessica Chastain). But before Guillermo del Toro's latest hits the big screen on October 16th, it will hit the shelves in the form of Funko's Pop! vinyl figures.
Depicting Sir Thomas Sharpe, Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska), and Mother Ghost, Funko's Crimson Peak Pop! vinyl figures are slated for a September release. No word yet if we'll see Pop! vinyl figures of other key Crimson Peak characters like Jessica Chastain's Lady Lucille Sharpe or Charlie Hunnam's Dr. Alan McMichael, but we'll keep our fingers crossed for further announcements.
From Funko: "Crimson Peak, the latest cinematic adventure from director Guillermo del Toro, is sure to cause a scare!

Guillermo del Toro’s gothic thriller “Crimson Peak” doesn’t hit theaters until this October. Of course, that means all the merchandising will be reaching retailer shelves in September. Which means the promotional blasts are going out right about…now. You can see where this is headed. Remember the eerie feeling the “Crimson Peak” trailer evoked? Like if “Casper” had been meant for an adult audience and not pre-teen girls who inexplicably found themselves crushing on the voice of Malachi Pearson and the body of Devon Sawa. In said trailer, several supernatural phenomena appear. Including one mysterious, black-clad ghost person creeping on Mia Wasikowska. The trailers are very careful to hide this ghost’s face. We see her hands… …and her feet… …but never any kind of defining characteristics outside of obvious tattered mourning clothes. Warning: “Crimson Peak” Spoiler Beyond This Point. Well Funko — creators of the ubiquitous Pop!Vinyls...

Craig here with another Take Three.
Today: James Franco
Well hell, if I didn’t feature James Franco on Take Three now I never will. His largely supporting career is likely to spill over into full-time leading man status any day now. I’d bet my Spider-Man box-set that in seven months he’ll have either a Best Actor Oscar sat on his desk or at least a well-deserved nomination as consolation; his lead role in Danny Boyle’s freshly-completed true-life tale 127 Hours will surely see him shunted up a few rungs on both the awards and career ladder.
<-- Franco in the true story 127 Hours
Either way, this time next year Franco may very well be beating off his peers for bigger, meatier roles in even more substantial fare (The Rise of Franco may coincide with The Rise of the Apes), or he may continue alternating occasional leads with...

All's well: Polo joins indie 'Two'
NEW YORK -- "Meet the Fockers" star Teri Polo is joining Dwight Yoakam, Mark Pellegrino, Mark Thompson and Kevin Pollak in the indie thriller "Two: Thirteen".
Polo stars as a detective overseeing the investigation of a serial killer with a love of Shakespeare. Thompson plays a police profiler who has returned from psychiatric leave and gets drawn into the case. Pellegrino plays a target of the killer, and Yoakam plays a colorful club owner who becomes a source during the investigation. Pollak has a supporting role as the psychiatrist who treats Thompson's character.
Thompson wrote the screenplay for the thriller, which director Charles Adelman is shooting in Los Angeles. The It's an Us Thing production is produced by Keith Walley, Ric Beddingfield and David Armstrong, who also serves as the film's director of photography.
Aside from her role in the two "Meet the Parents" films and their upcoming sequel, Polo recently has appeared in "Full of It", "Beyond Borders", NBC's "The West Wing", Lifetime Movie Network's "For the Love of a Child" and Hallmark Channel's "Love Is a Four Letter Word".
Thompson, best known as co-host of the "Mark and Brian" radio show on KLOS-FM Los Angeles, also wrote and starred in "Mother Ghost" and recently penned an adaptation of the novel "Mary Mary" for Revelations Entertainment.
