One of the film where lead actor Raaj Kumar plays role of father and son himself, other film being Karmayogi.
The initial audio release of this film had a slightly differently spelt title. The word "Raaja" in the title was spelt "Raja" in the original audio release. Another audio release done in 1973 had the spelling of the title as it was in the released film.
This film was director P. Madhavan's remake of his own hit film "Enga Oor Raja" (1968) starring Sivaji Ganesan.
