I had completely forgotten about this late night movie show until I came across a reference to it on another IMDb page. And what a great show it was, with wonderful bottom-of-the-barrel flicks interspersed with the occasional legit movie, and hosted by various funny folks like Gilbert Gottfried, Such fond memories. The topic of female nudity -- a frequent occurrence in many of the flicks shown -- and how this was handled makes for some very funny reading here, and I remember that sort of thing vividly. Today, the station would simply optically obscure what it doesn't want us to see, instead of making ridiculous and downright damaging edits. Many of these films may never be seen again, sad to say. I agree with those who suggest watching G4, which runs some pretty awful and hilarious flicks from time to time. But it's not and never will be "USA Up All Night." That was one of a kind.
As a teen when I could set up late on Friday and Saturday nights I was glued to "USA Network" and this late night show which was always hosted or introduced either by the sexy Rhonda Shear or the silly Gilbert Gottfried. And the movies would range from top notch action or horror flicks to cheesy like teen hormone driven comedies to B science fiction type independent horror flicks. Wow those were the days when I could stay up all night and plus "USA" was a great network. Yet eye candy treat was seen as many of the movies had hot chicks and were hormone driven, really miss those days.
Man, what a time to grow up! The 1980's were a fabulous time for, not only, music, and films, but television as well. There was no better television station in the 1980's than The USA Network! USA "Up All Night" was amazing! Since I was too young to really go out, and party, in the late 1980's and early 1990's, I would sit at home, or at a friends house and watch this show every weekend. I loved how atrocious the 'B' movies were, and the hilarious comments both Gilbert Godfried and Rhonda Shear used to make about the film.
USA's late night television blocks were AMAZING on weekends. I can vividly remember getting excited, every Saturday, from about 1988-1993, to watch The USA Network from 8PM until, at least 3AM.
As a teenager that loved horror films, what could've been better than USA's Saturday Nightmares block (8PM-11PM) and then, USA "Up All Night" which ran from 11PM-3AM. Blood and guts from 8-11 and T&A from 11PM-3AM, what could've been better for a 13 year old guy? LOL! Unfortunately, The USA Network, like many other television stations, has gotten stale, and play many syndicated television shows, which are boring as hell. I will never forget all of the great childhood memories, I received from The USA Network from 1987 until 1993.
If there could only be a "USA Network Classic" channel created, that could run these old shows, in their original form, including retro USA bumpers. Shows like "Night Flight", "Up All Night", "Saturday Nightmares", and "Commander USA's Groovy Movies" that would kick some serious ass!

Every week I would watch USA Up All Night hosted by Gilbert Gottfried and Rhonda Shear! Gilbert Gottfried and Rhonda Shear were a hilarious duo of hosts for this show! I just couldn't stop laughing sometimes when he would joke about movies. The show was a couple hours long and they would have some of the most outrageous low budget films ever. The program also aired many bizarre films as well. The show would have one of the most hilarious films as well and My favorite shows, Dynaman! This was truly on of the most exciting, funny, and special weekly programs and its a shame that this great show is no longer airing. It was a real classic program and that in My opinion there will never be another one like this! If you have a video tape or can some how watch this show do it because I strongly recommend it!

Gilbert Gottfried was an excellent host and the movies were so bad they were actually good. Most of them were in the style of Ed Wood. This was where I first saw "Killer Clowns from Outer Space". It like most of them was so bad it was good. It has since attained Cult Status. All of the films it showed were classics and the comments by Gottfried and Shear made this an unforgettable program. I truly do miss not being able to see this on TV anymore. We need more like this on the Tube. I agree with the other reviewer when he said most of these movies will never be shown again. They were so bad that no one would be willing to rent them or watch them. The comments that were made between the commercials were hilarious and made you want to watch.

I watched the Latin version of "USA UP ALL NIGHT". I don't know where else to comment about it.
The host was Shelly Moreno; a sexy blonde Latina with a sexy fresh attitude. She would always wear skimpy mini skirts and bathing suits. She was extremely nice and at some points gave her opinions for some Horror movies.
Those were the days when this program was the best possible Friday night entertainment. I miss the old days... I can't even count how many movies I watched it on this show.
To the producers of Latin USA Network; I praise you and thank for the good memories. Hopefully, one day, this show will return in it's Latin version.

As a teen in the late 80's I watched this show every week, religiously.
It turned me on to some movies that have become my favorite of all time B -horror, campy, gritty and cult classics like Killer Klowns from outer space, 976-evil, Motel Hell, Toxic Avenger, Night of the Comet, etc etc.
The list goes on. The memories of watching this show left a lasting impression on me.
It was one of a kind for it's time and perfect for someone of my age group.
They also aired a lot of the "sexy comedies" like Bikini Car Wash, Bad Girls Dormitory, etc.
Miss this show!

Yes, next to Commander USA's Groovie Movies, this show was my fave on the USA Network. I loved the great 80's L.A. rock and roll feel the show had. I even loved the opening theme song! Caroline Schlitt was a beautiful love goddess and great comedian and was the perfect host for this late night movie show. Gilbert was a good host too but the show went straight to hell when the oh so annoying, idiotic, moronic, and painfully unfunny Rhonda Shear replaced Caroline as the host. Poor Caroline vanished from the world of show bizniz after she left Up All Night. Oh, Caroline, honey, we hardly knew ye...
